Project for my son’s room

I have taken on the remodel of my 7 year old son’s room. It has been a blast! Once we picked the paint color that is. We are going with a 50’s surfer theme. Bamboo shade for the window, beads for the closet doors, some tin signs. It’s really coming together. I made this wall hanging with Life’s a beach cartridge. I really like the cartridge except there is no blackout or shadow option. I had to do some tricking with my shark because the one thy had was just too cutsie. I cut the shark and then cut the layer and used the inside of the layer over the cutout. I used a very tiny black dot for the eye and voila! he  looked like a scary shark. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box. I used random pattern paper that I thought were colors and patterns that went with the room. Glued them to 6x6 chip board squares, punched holes, decorated with random beachy things, and tied it all together with jute. I really would love some feed back on it! Thanks
