I am very sorry for that. Life has been getting in the way of my creative time. Here is a card I made for a baby shower using the card feature on Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. It is cut at 4inches. I also used the frame feature for the same cut. The flowers are cut from Sweet Treats at 1inch and I used the center cut for the flower also. You can’t tell from the photo but the cardstock for the base of the card is lighter on the inside so the background of the buggy is a lighter pink. This came out soo adorable and looks great on the front of the gift bag.</p>~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-31886439985540689642010-11-16T12:01:00.001-08:002010-11-16T12:01:29.305-08:00Wedding card using Winter Woodland<p>I LOVE this style of card using the tag feature on the Winter Woodland cartridge. This turned out just like I wanted it to. I cut tags from page 61 at 41/2 in. and cut one more in the pattern paper at 4 1/4 in. The birds were cut at 3in and 3 1/2 in. I wanted them to appear to be flying in sync. I used Stampin up Champagne Mist ink applied with a dauber to accent the wings and then sprayed them with the ink mixed with rubbing alcohol to glimmer them all over. I used a brad to hold it together and stamped the sentiment inside. Hope you like it! </p> <p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqL230mBQzWOBuY8SRRuH2xFIbTnvYu18Nh2TCzXpEwcRm4bBzK7lm6zLFZ5uITHsaexTm0PIIAuKn21vplzoGzDE0L3f8vnzu7WJdl-FydzbSygiWQT48eTooBssrIOhuxQVi_L6IsL8/s1600-h/063%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="063" border="0" alt="063" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAbQMfTvRZCgQPlKughR7fcA3-BFUyLda36_obY5gRjG00cCXvqb4Mjj8pL_mpmDzQlM9ZVLiS2fIjx-oyQQJ2erU1u1JmmjyJkReugJAxIPwDQHJ2sC5iX5nr-NFuLSRIGrKZMY2_TaU/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="218"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwhWyqBNCKNW0wuYwFUKspLrJmrQS7a2UjrIJRK86TNE-4FDGbi7KAnZlwoKWZq_OG87JGyejgK-aoEes5E3DfMIfCHYpXYOgZxtFt5RLYZjLUMBzfBcRX87P5xUYPi3NAGB4AwsC2AYk/s1600-h/065%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="065" border="0" alt="065" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlvd2cJiZKoQKxe42PvfDBOHuJi0zzu8Rc6XwlqaFjSMbHkNwazt1RsA5z9-3dUZKPTytwpcHVuia5Nh_OtnkpmsEex0sncn76X8SHeeSmSio7byvNcG9MyyK4jRAmBreXu3XVRH83lis/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="184"></a></p> ~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-68026780378157207982010-10-27T15:17:00.001-07:002010-10-27T15:17:48.848-07:00Thanksgiving gift card<p>Here is a little gift card that I made to attach to bottles of sparkling cider for Thanksgiving gifts. It is also for the <a href="http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Cricut Cardz Challenge</a>. </p> <p>The challenge was to create a card using a card function with any cartridge. I used the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I cut the card at 3 in. and the card frame at 3 in. using the turkey on page 49. I cut a piece of vellum cut at 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 to glue to the back of the turkey. I used two brads and ribbon and the sentiment is from Pinkcricut Simply Everything stamp set I recently got with a gift certificate I won from Sarah! Love her stamps!! I also used Tim Holtz spiced marmalade distress powder on the edge of the card and heat embossed it.</p> <p>All I had to take the picture with was my balsamic vinegar bottle. Got to go get my cider! Hope you like these. Thanks for following! </p> <p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNyEZbEocqNHZ5RVxDLiiyZfcVN0iVpRlD7lu3wE2ZtBn2phYTrn9dUJeHjxJyLCLqVsWVyoOdqGIwZZRLB4E-s_WsKwwjYsZMOhYKlY9U-_PrRdfMQQBdFF-MXRtlXMWWYh84ewRuhEY/s1600-h/100_2030%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="100_2030" border="0" alt="100_2030" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyWeIRDgqr6eXxWwPiVLJtEinWl6O5bHSaJVjvEWeUigApa0TPbqKEUjuTCopyRRJMAB4tE7pZw8xeWe8BwJFhGpjtjPeowEuvRIVIl-_yXE0rRYIpTF-izqdmFUWUqAPhFP4h1j2vOXs/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="184"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0fQIANIAnDXUyeJ8t9fY5_-95n4QYxx9A4LpK_y-G4jLYYBMBHoXTcmbvkRB79QW3shL8g8V1lQh6sxWyhiWcx6sYE2Nh9xxum8Z69qFseLNxpxGVCIXxqF5H5mdCdrno9JxxqaMRMb8/s1600-h/100_2031%5B7%5D.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="100_2031" border="0" alt="100_2031" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_5pNWri940FejVnd3AE5xcQhJBaNJrpVyZHNx44fy4wcDLFF3MHVS5q8QSxqqEYVvhwgZUJ0Lfzjpc1P2Oo4C71thfWtQ_ClpllTSxLYMtB1Hafj_znBC_BKcPjKU4jGbmWimJSzhgIY/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="184"></a></p>~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-61417022931055356792010-10-18T15:13:00.001-07:002010-10-19T15:06:36.596-07:00Halloween door hanging<p>I made this haunted house using Mini Monsters. I used fit to page which made the house 10 1/2 inches. I cut the sign at 4 1/4 inches. The ghost is 2 1/2 in. I used chipboard for the backing of house and sign. I also added a boarder to the roofs with Martha Stewart Dippy Goo punch. I attached the two with thin wire. This was such a fun project. Hope it gives you the willies….or just makes you smile! She loves puppies! I love how this shape card turned out. I used the celebrations cartridge cut the shadow twice at 4 1/2, cut the puppy face at 4 1/2 once in the cream and again in black. I cut the ear and eye spot from the black face and used a 3/4 in circle punch for the ear spot. </p> <p>This is my entry for <a href="http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2010/10/episode-244-pick-of-patch-day-2-of.html" target="_blank">My Pink Stamper "Cute" challenge</a> and <a href="http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/10/cricut-cardz-challenge-46.html" target="_blank">Cricut Cardz "Anything Goes" Challenge</a>! Big thank you!!! I am blown away that you all find my blog interesting. Here is a new little card for you.</p> <p>I love making these cards with the Winter Woodland cartridge. I had to try a fall one. After I cut the tree tags out at 4 1/2 I measured the squirrel and tried cutting him at 2 3/4 and again at 3 in. The 2 3/4 worked and gave me a border but I liked the 3 in. to cover him completely. The basket is cut from doodlecharms at 1 in.Inside view was hard to capture. I just stamped the sentiment. I Hope you find him as cute as I do! </p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQxsEIezljJqMfiQYqE8jJ0oq-v1niU1KT153AEDo9kHmxuZ8-KVbxC5eanJ2I48c-kReib_smxBMWNw7PV-UO8VhDJhrg7W0sLoviOYaPFLdJfbi8ox063X-9Bs-95DJfSHzQwfqe8PQ/s1600-h/100_1960%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1960" border="0" alt="100_1960" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidCk8Xvg_YtXlChyphenhyphenxG5Ehb-FqkemGnXLye88cc1nb-OYfLzGhh6jHg9dTJcE8jJbHs_M3epPn2o7TuvtrUMY4RQqguO25QeH5DiRFYELVyangaTEQt7V1vtKH0HVgymY-FDEJ2OzT93Xo/?imgmax=800" width="199" height="244"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9lKS4jOKE4Yo8fUogIp8Fy5MlSRXi273x-wyjXiG8yLn83_pM-XJNDEWLV6WGRwZKMZ_Ifjc2qmj-scm8Vdz4EAghjyO7aCmVSBjMpvSVxqr3K3XUiqq4RfO5NqaNjG4xoObyU1rdAUM/s1600-h/100_1961%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1961" border="0" alt="100_1961" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyBglNTMrIv131S3a-k4IUk7woI_LOWtWkHmKKiZeKYutD21STl4_1avhhVx6SXhgUuRKfOQqrV6qlC29EVeWuQybSAXZDHzo6-N8Koi484pZeyyD7QK7L4eyYRVDHkYolFoCPLwCQ3kg/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="226"></a> ~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-9243763292158525222010-10-09T14:53:00.001-07:002010-10-09T14:53:11.968-07:00Tag card<p> I have been wanting to try this type of card for awhile. Robyn’s Saturday Challenge at <a href="http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2010/10/saturday-challenge.html" target="_blank">My Pink Stamper</a> gave me the chance to go for it. I love how this turned out! I used Winter Woodland and cut the sleigh on page 53 using the tag function. I cut 2 background tags using shift at 4 1/2 and then the sleigh front at 4 1/2. I glued the sleigh paper to one background piece. After some embellishing I hole punched the tags and used a brad and ribbon to hold them together. Now it just slides open. The inside sentiment is cut at 2 1/2. This was a fun and simple card to put together. </p> <p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhacUkmSyqJlGpTFff47Pe6o4XKbzJctxeNK4M0CfvCQDr14tSFtxwy3efHBJEixpuD2HZ9Y85zaDRDAS7NfJVdbZeV0IvtuzFTlZeH1YBnB_7XOlgniL3o0EkCxdk9IZEU8VzBuwmXu_c/s1600-h/100_1956%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1956" border="0" alt="100_1956" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9O8qJLCWXV3b6ocug9ISCQ9C41bJbCTDipnz7_4xQalVHLUJW2wsmGKLY0udxdLr6PNLUX1K1O8xtRIaEcejnMmRppvYETmnerB7lvGZkaryLaffsDplQp5tDzmvmOE7Czgzww07lQSI/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="213"></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwvZKwn6UZuQMe6FFvsN8J74k0QMSVqx0oXLJrPLAhYkRJXIe2SJzJOaq0cjygp0PS3UDGk7TQwzIsAA-qJuScjf9QKwEDKeuA3i0scuPle8hgxvNsZmBYmE8UYOp6ZbE5hBe7XHRes7w/s1600-h/100_1959%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1959" border="0" alt="100_1959" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB2qKxf0YRvhySV83KbZFVI8ttaiC2T3tNNw_oXGh8rqEvF4EMtNa-9Sk7Pjk4pV1S5SR5EPo9b1aJHn-NuU_B_t7IVDbuzsZJR3ng3Ui1AcREt8THIGvqKPpkkJvh-h1tcPhEsAOL-Hg/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="184"></a></p> ~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-31061619675464514462010-10-06T15:00:00.001-07:002010-10-06T15:00:33.114-07:00Double time challenge<p> Here is a critter card for <a href="http://morethanfavors.blogspot.com/2010/10/wacky-wednesday-10-critter-theme.html" target="_blank">More Than Favors</a> Wacky Wednesday challenge and a Thanksgiving card for <a href="http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Cricut Cardz Challange</a>!</p> <p>This is a 5x5 card using Country Life cartridge and Diamond in the rough cuttlebug folder. I’m beyond excited that I have 31 followers!!! That is just amazing to me. I hope I continue to spark your interest. Today I’m sharing pocket cards that were inspired by Dorcas at <a href="http://4craftyangels.blogspot.com/2010/10/more-hopping-fun.html" target="_blank">4 Crafty Angels</a>. She made these for a couple of blog hops and offers a fantastic video on how they are made. I used Mini Monsters and Designer Calendar for my cut outs, I heat embossed the Boo sentiment, and stickled buttons to pull the card out. Hope you like them. Be sure to check out Dorcas’ blog for the real deal!</p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhffQD3da4scxxKCuZYjKezjiW-EhDtuPh3gRwdjh_4ftuuJNVR9DRejFxeAbDtMIcNURhwH6ZtdPsTO7zZy0GjtCL1u243zCRwZr7tom-fADWkoIPtAEROJlxx6IFGCO3YRuFdp3W78yU/s1600-h/100_1952%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1952" border="0" alt="100_1952" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhETC1ElkVLpOVr0Q43lA7VfXVQXoSIel2JFncLGtCjkuI3hxtQCzV3Q3om7CdAa_9l0T_8ZLepmSK3HZrBxK75MAriT_z8SVkRKtQcw4oc5n2otulxX8zl-JJlxnGzSwKcVv-DzAE4di8/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="184"></a>~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-40000623822096375332010-09-29T12:59:00.001-07:002010-09-29T13:02:22.998-07:00Cricut Cardz ‘Z’ card challenge<p> This is the first time I’m entering the <a href="http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">cricut cardz challenge</a> challenge. It has been a blast! Once we picked the paint color that is. We are going with a 50’s surfer theme. Bamboo shade for the window, beads for the closet doors, some tin signs. It’s really coming together. I made this wall hanging with Life’s a beach cartridge. I really like the cartridge except there is no blackout or shadow option. I had to do some tricking with my shark because the one thy had was just too cutsie. I cut the shark and then cut the layer and used the inside of the layer over the cutout. I used a very tiny black dot for the eye and voila! he looked like a scary shark. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box. I used random pattern paper that I thought were colors and patterns that went with the room. Glued them to 6x6 chip board squares, punched holes, decorated with random beachy things, and tied it all together with jute. I really would love some feed back on it! Thanks </p> <p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiLmC0YFapmXgebR3oqGsMsE_KYlmCrvGRNlb9FBV0M3UfFJ95IPrRSn1tD0a1lhGZ1QXiDP7bcEyhdkCFheXjW9DkyzH8rcHpNl6Z2es54FthX-2p1LNThctCPvXFm_p7ZvwP4ISA7pQ/s1600-h/100_1913%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1913" border="0" alt="100_1913" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFhSmJuRydmYJUqzb8JMBqYNoGWNNq9vPAf0luRHpgTHeK1M7g92kXz_zzYvSuhsvwVbcu29jJ86-_afl0IpGMMpbazyHVG-napS52jJN7O0U5jTF6EKRWB0RGzHhuz6xOJHGOnzlaYEA/?imgmax=800" width="169" height="133"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWVBjx7VP7P2uBpQMw1sLLYqmRw7r4ngP9ZeZBbDQNrqGlfUUB-GpEFHK0GC4OvOHTIQOTM0qvmtCeLoIr3t1EDMIuGE6cNGiMwddkzvq8hBHa7DCPMBqpUVVeBbcu6gjx7q89UtxBbCU/s1600-h/100_1920%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1920" border="0" alt="100_1920" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxIE44jbQ4KXiOD0GW8R02SX2yt4qeuwXW6Q-Uiv4sY64j_QbsXnV8HDn61Y7V03X18zHZJr0UEDSCrytkceyDoQ9x5TRLnbzDj6iAmd_soIlbZPVtJK_r7HTdhu2kQyC0WjzwBeNXHUY/?imgmax=800" width="92" height="244"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNvgrqiTBCypgDD7icUN7b0kR1whQRZQduXIP5Q7YxwIgJDmCg8ktJ0vsufHU4EOO-aEcD4s3OneN6bD9r_iBycnXG2XSteQSN9LYT6oc67nTE8-IVR8YfsVcsYxOLc_leJXjEXwJvWmw/s1600-h/100_1923%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1923" border="0" alt="100_1923" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5nf4f1JZuCKpm8iIusk8EuvGHNQXgZ83W_x_fnbKt0gWwxAYAWhPt4wzElgQlIiCt_Z18kf23Q5vZbA5gefG_sRPnACd5w3p6yLaC7Xe-QFYId6kzLE3n323_MgDjLqbM6mLnoI8-LSA/?imgmax=800" width="177" height="136"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggaQbr2sYPuibb-Xba7U0SyIMXx9r1MXnl3X9XPj_FYPmGJGeLFz8jSOe3GOw_SvoLFFxTK0g2ooCXPRruHAx5fqMlgdLBd2KZ_p2INLWW4g5hnh-pbeCzj6spRbAmrxuc_xZQ5jqL7zc/?imgmax=800"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1925" border="0" alt="100_1925" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZJ9RDxptuio9Q7sOzBlYGh8oCFwCsXn_VvhfFcliNQ0ybWYBW6-KBRFLRYGZ2MmIRDLd-CD2xdtF36bJvlWGMdWRnaAFoZRyg8CvDOOkg_fk7uUq3GWgN1nU2FsV2xhjg8hxw4K34tIM/?imgmax=800" width="181" height="140"></a> </p> <p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBzRTH6Su4t_gIMnDwhaI9PcHNPjUBDAX1KWeYrSp9rwRdrfOjtNVprKLD0mlIFEudhqA5J7PSVfOP42ax4ZHKYzXHla2GcaPLUzu8iOuxWpwF9UBFux6iT_2My9vNzLjXLkVngdizV24/s1600-h/100_1921%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1921" border="0" alt="100_1921" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyDnNH4AkJRrTRBDOeS2WrcSu5LyEbZkAir9b4KuGZKVgPeMANB0hSsMEk54cPAKPDrTADe6lB3uVOPnIX4AZi9z4gdTS7v1sC5Kt73dL73ryS3REUzEkWSFmB9r4_O9UtYx4bah1O80o/?imgmax=800" width="120" height="155"></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoEGe0NDqD9Idcv5wjfViXebb-jmXeb0HxCytbEmGjOOOrwK9RBn4DLX5Vz5aemc82ksJ8oC3bJLgBKWxDBnsYLPxgRPC5tu3aBUiQ9Maqz8yOMihlyd4RXlvycMbAuBRPXgivISa1BEw/s1600-h/100_1922%5B4%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1922" border="0" alt="100_1922" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy0iK9cfieEJUdOf9nfDglh88TlyEWiSdXDFcCYKeuxUP6uz94f5Qik4ScgzL6hF9_z0FW51JpExk8d67uFgIM2YwA4N2NPfsg1CdDuzrJtk9m9Kvl51hu06SabC-wvrupxAYLcw3v5oU/?imgmax=800" width="113" height="142"></a></p> ~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-16942559064243753302010-09-21T08:33:00.001-07:002010-09-21T08:34:51.483-07:00Vinyl Everything!<p>Couldn’t just give my nephew a plain old cd/stereo for his 7th birthday. It was tricky to cut out so many at the same time but I got it. I was able to use the Quantity feature. Major hint is to not remove the mat after drawing the object. Just hit load paper and insert the blade and then cut. I used the mouse from Animal Kingdom. First “cut” using the marker and regular image. Hit load paper to get to the beginning again then with blade in cut out the image with the blackout feature. Center Point! After printing out the sentiment I load the page into the Cricut and position the blade over the center. You may have to work with the sizing a bit. I could have written this a bit different to fill the space more, but am very happy with how it turned out. The sentiment and it’s background are the same cut from Accent Essentials and the houses and Merry Christmas are cut from Jubilee. The white mat is embossed with Cuttlebug folder Script. Hope you like it too! </p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6z5ssPNHIew3io5NKLhJTnfI0v57m8rRnI0c0H6A8iJssA_O2YKgaESyUyl7Kjx3Idbqsz8V82t9G7EB_XJJhhWQEnGwZiTHRd1Qd6L7Eg4vME55JyQqzLjc0s8Mr8qD7bIcbBFZ-NFE/s1600-h/100_1916%5B3%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1916" border="0" alt="100_1916" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_tctLL6WjXb-Goz5uZfAQxxX1SOcWA7UCUMWuCOquar9t0u9tzkgjfxbZI_1eYvu7DoMVoHJ1y0GMcAEzmc06TjhCJh9QH9YipJ4cMIrYLGdJ3IkM4ucGXJyYy66qa7NZdCNmpQC3cRs/?imgmax=800" width="279" height="210"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7LDRF38vbd9rJAyI53ebeFcnFgk-PbGLhAlCLJ9VWMySBDmvpnGNDmzzeVNj-QohwEpAlQS25zO52ud40F6S6AU-P_nisRoPdXZLNglhzkpY4aCvrkmMUwQcaPw1t7rHpNmVbiQAZcC0/s1600-h/100_1917%5B5%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1917" border="0" alt="100_1917" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3VMAD9h01kXWaAfu2ld5RDLUey4mBJHdyMLteVZvWZ9r56HCRrV7qAGgKckKXmEuTqdGFgWg0O-kwisUp18JRObalzTfd8M1w2En5N2j3gpXuDMU5zEUcQ5Rm8LmuJJ48_3WxMUjEVj8/?imgmax=800" width="195" height="244"></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR2EVRSNv72lXb1BF3wjSzkPujM5UdnalbbvTCFyScKdqlGd-p_mpuTUCDmGteiThYK_LL_vldn1uQnJsKvkCLs0Km8lfEcc-FRvRZV9EWzJJBqulJATx2FnhyF4-6MYij7XG521YOlAA/s1600-h/100_1918%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1918" border="0" alt="100_1918" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdS0Npi2YWxqYoXVU2uDYUNySrLmEqbk0KdXeYDy8AGP9wndkMMyfw3THZTmo9-RpANNaQl7JTPHZ1dLAkOFT-EaB6vUoMIW2QfkqXqLZdUTI32sBRSUFbM7LxIzUEDoSLUpu5t58h7ac/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="184"></a> ~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-19020280414204325302010-09-16T08:37:00.000-07:002010-09-16T08:44:43.587-07:00Happy Birthday Georgiana!Georgiana at Carson's Cricut Creations is giving us the chance to win a cricut cartridge for <strong>HER</strong> birthday!!! I love this little saying and couldn't help but use it in my first card. The snowflake is cut from Accent Essentials which I think is really my favorite cartridge in my collection. I always go back to it.I used a Stampin Up tiny snowflake stamp with versa mark and embossed it in silver as I did with the sentiment also. I love embossing especially for Christmas cards. </p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlPJBuK0msXKlxPmbEeweTAbTdQw3A27OVsJ4S1xljqxx5IG9PeIi9VwUHL1aH0Z6LmIKZnzcWcNkFJUktIfQ1WzhcNaIWJjUgl0GT004pu3eyHaeYeczwB55jTwE1UZCweRKU1PGn1ao/s1600-h/100_1909%5B7%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1909" border="0" alt="100_1909" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLhqHothZFUH5ckWkUFXbnqIhbeH9u8JvX6m3EigJJeRLYG2rZTXzbD_6PGCtcIXHk_NfFuIjpJY9IETdiH9pnl13PuLxt_Xi2L66SCE1o2To1waav0k8FscmeiOJ2y0TjSWzFVUZqVJM/?imgmax=800" width="327" height="187"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRcKgQ8WFE73Rh48gC7o_fD02KX2noY6JVVGFY7Ep9A6pGwJs1f7zGieK7tCzlxA_k0plCuX-Rok1LX6WoyqQscL1VRyvISsSkHKHGwQjWusJbTZtXViTOWJIPrXq2oMYXXXNvW1jas3c/s1600-h/100_1910%5B2%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="100_1910" border="0" alt="100_1910" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLpvuwCfX16wz6t_2TE0ERXyXpihncLt0YWeOkRu_R98Fa3Cx9Cu4lagf-BLJosjdTdmlRBCRY1CvWECVF6YnLo34mmgiFkWOA0vesPEWFmI3Z_EzMpfIEWkXOHDGTMDZSZZRtdhW6FIk/?imgmax=800" width="244" height="184"></a> ~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3642135114313926952.post-1996469185986603552010-09-11T16:51:00.001-07:002010-09-11T16:51:59.699-07:00For recipe exchange<p> I’m in love with Stickles!!! I have 23 followers! That blows me away. I just love this world of scrapbookers/cardmakers sharing ideas and the love of paper crafting! I hope I keep you all interested. </p> <p>For today I’ve been dying to try embossing with ink on the cuttlebug. After watching a video from Jen, purplescrapbooker.com I was brave enough to try it. Please report back if you give it a try too. I’m off to do a pumpkin and will post a picture later. Be honest of what you think. This is only my second video. Haven’t quite got it down yet. I’ll practice. Guess they just wanted to “BE” sure. I had to use the bee paper I had. I wanted to do something non traditional and really love the way this turned out. Card is 4 1/2 x 6. Opens tall. Flowers and square tag are from Celebrations cartridge and sentiment is from Heritage cartridge. I cut the word united twice and cut one up to get the in word. Inside sentiment was found on the internet, forgot the website already, and printed from the computer. The square tag is from page 122 and cuts with corner holes where I added the brads. Here is a great tutorial on cutting the box out. <a title="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/2_5_7_10_box/" href="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/2_5_7_10_box/">http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/2_5_7_10_box/</a> Once I had the shape of the box cut out, I marked the spot for the window on the scored rectangle that will be the front of the box. Be sure to allow enough room for the flap to fold over. Next, adhere the flat paper to the Cricut mat. Be sure to check which way the shape you want will cut. Bring the blade to the mark made on the front of box. Hit Center Point button. This is where the center of your shape will be. I used the strawberry on pg. 56 cut at 2 inches. Cut shape. Unload paper, remove from mat, and turn over. Use a piece of clear cellophane and adhere over cutout. I used a piece from a cellophane gift bag I cut for a different project. Fold all scored pieces and glue following directions from Splitcoast Stampers. Decorate as you like. I found strawberry candies to fill the box, cut the sentiment from pg. 56 at 1”, glittered it, glued it to a 1 x 2 3/4 piece of brown cs which I ran through the distressed stripes Cuttlebug folder. attached two pink brads, pop dot attached it to the box. I finished by stamping the U R over the strawberry. Hope you like it! I can’t wait to give it away as a cute little gift!</p> ~Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10715013062919296512noreply@blogger.com0
